Hi, my name is Neysa. Being a teacher and singer, drumming
never entered my mind until the summer of 2001 when I attended
a "Unity with a Beat" weekend workshop with Arthur Hull and
Mickey Hart. With my first drum circle being 750 people strong,
there was no going back. Today, I'm an active, trained drum circle
facilitator in the Denver, Colorado area with over nine years of
experience.

As a facilitator, I offer two types of recreational drum programs:
Community Circles are not about learning to drum, but about
building relationships with other people. By seating the participants
in a close circle, everyone is equal.  Using drums and small
percussion, the emphasis will be on listening and communicating
           plus any other desired focus.

HealthRHYTHMS is a recreational music making program
that
follows a research-based 10 step protocol to achieve a
certain end result. The outcome will depend on the focus of
the group.
To achieve the full end result, a weekly session
lasting six weeks is recommended, but not necessary.
This one-and-a-half hour program will provide drums and small
percussion instruments for everyone.
As we sit in a circle, the group
will be lead through a protocol designed to reach outcomes such as:
